MedChef Homemade Cakes, Pastries and Desserts on their 1st year Anniversary

Located at 139 Mo. Ignacia, Diliman Quezon City

I was cordially invited to be part of the celebration of their 1^st year anniversary on the business known as MedChef the true home of delicious, mouth-watering and simply irresistible cakes, pastries and desserts.  First and foremost, let’s start with their name MedChef; I’m sure all of us have a question back in our mind why it was named Medchef. Is he a Doctor/Chef? Hahaha! Actually, your right! Med is Jayson Carlos he is registered Medical Technologist in St. Luke’s Hospital. Then, after a couple of years, he decided to shift into Marketing and Networking Business. And now he’s one of the executives of Goals Unlimited Corporation.  He also owned Medchef’s Cake shop.

MedChef will not be possible without the chef itself. Chef Hasset Go, the man behind the scene. He was middle child of Ms Lorelie Go. His Mom used to bake cake when he was still a child he’s the one who decorate it. He started at a young age of 12 when he worked as a service crew in order for to support his studies; then he became the youngest Pastry Chef and assistant of Chef Jane Paredes & Chef Ed Quimson, where he served his specialty cakes to some famous celebrities we have like Queen of all Media Kris Aquino, Vicki Belo, Tessa Prieto-Valdez, Katrina Ponce Enrile, Edu Manzo among others. Chef has also found his niche in culinary scene. He also established the title as head chef in Salt and Pepper Restaurant in less than 2 years which is located in Makati. And later he became a consultant to different country clubs and resorts.

Define Cakes, Pastries and Desserts? MedChef is the first name that comes in my mind. Why? Because they’ve got everything I want.  So when Mark told us about this event and invited us,thi is something I don’t want to missed out. I didn’t have a second thought, because this is one of my favourites to eat cake. Maybe I was born with sweet tooth. Hahaha!!! I went there with my cousin Rueka.  On the first minute that we arrived, Jayson and Chef Hasset already welcome us with all gratitude. And as we all took o our seats, they’ve started to serve us their variety of cakes and flooded us with drinks from their beloved and supportive sponsors; Ceres juices, Pepsi, and evian bottled water. That was really awesome!!!

Then suddenly, our attention was hooked when the models took the floor and started to ramp carrying luscious cakes, which we could also eat. That was the best part!

Despite the rainy evening outside, MedChef gave the guests the warmth accommodation inside the cakeshop, keep on assuring that we are all okey and fully loaded with foods and drinks.

Akiko of Star Power was there, she also loved cake from MedChef, and she sang a song for everyone and she really sings well JJJ Rey Pumaloy and Richard Pinlac were also spotted.

Through word of mouth, their cakes and pastries have become bestsellers, and the goodwill they’ve shown to their ever-growing clients seems to have translated into their new project as both demand and cake orders have likewise been stronger than expected. 2 thumbs up for Jayson And Chef Hasset!!! Happy 1^st year anniversary and congratulation for the success of your party and I’m looking forward to be there on you 2^nd,3^rd, 4^th so on and so forth anniversary to come JMore power!

Long live OPM Artists!!!

I am a music lover, anything that goes with music. I used to listen to OPM music most of my time, or should I say that’s my favourite past time next to eating(haha) when I’m on my way to office, even somewhere else, when I’m cleaning the house or simply when I’m lying before bedtime. I found it so relaxing. And I can easily relate myself to every song I listen to. By the way, what I love about OPM was because of their composition is very relevant to each and everyone who gets to listen to it. And I was so lucky because I’ve got the chance to be part of the Tunog Natin (OPM ARTIST Free Concert) last June 15, 2011 that was been held in Ayala Triangle, Makati. And that was so amazing indeed! I’ve seen most of my favourite bands, likewise to my favourite solo performers singing those beautiful songs. Oh my gosh! That was the most wonderful feeling, I experienced being there. And I could say that’s the best! Cheers!
