MANG INASAL SHOWS LOVE WITH FIRST MEDIA AND BLOGGERS’ NIGHT

I am proud that one of my best favorite restaurant supports OPM just like me. And I remember three months i just learned how to used the chicken oil at Mang Inasal when one of my office mates told me. I felt so ashamed that time, i have enjoyed eating there without  adding chicken oil to my rice, haha!!! Until i was told that that's the used of that having it displayed there, then when i tried it...oh gee i had enjoyed more eating and it crave me for another cup of their UNLIMITED RICE!

Last night at T.E.A.T.R.I.N.O. in Promenade, Greenhills, was filled of fun, events, and games as Mang Inasal invited Media and well-known Bloggers for their launched of its newest campaign: I Love Mang Inasal, a look back into the reason why we Filipinos have fallen in love with this brand, and a look forward to bigger things to come.
Mang Inasal held this event to celebrate. Two more reasons to love Mang Inasal: the Mang Aawit Project, and the Grand Gadget Giveaway; the announcement of its 400th store opening on August 5, at the Vmall Car Park in Greenhills. Two lucky audience members also walked away with brand new ASUS Eee Pad Transformers.
The Mang Aawit Project is Mang Inasal’s way of enriching the OPM scene. The project aims to aid eight deserving artists’ music grants and exposure to a wider audience as Mang Inasal shows its support to OPM.

Here are some of my taken photos.

OPM Pop heartthrobs 1:43
They are the first who performed that night but unluckily we were not able to see them graces the stage. But we still had a chance to chat with them :)

Sony Music's Acoustic Gem Stephanie Dan
I'm telling you she will be the next Acoustic Goddess, all of us were captured by her very distinct acoustic version of "Fireworks" and "Price Tag". And she have a very pretty face, and i told her "you look like Tinker Bell" she was like a fairy to me :)

Acoustic singer-composer Aries Sales
Next in line was Acoustic singer-composer from Davao Aries Sales, with his single "Ms. Masungit".

Comedian and Radio Host Onse Tolentino
Then, stand-up comedian and Radio host of DZBB Teleradyo never fails to impresses us with his jokes and very nice voice when he sung "May Bukas Pa" then make us go dance into the music with his very own novelty-dance song titled "AEIOU".

Pinoy Academy Scholar Sheng Belmonte
Who will ever get over with this sultry singer Sheng Belmonte who made me hate myself seeing her slowly bump her hips and surely made the guys feels hotter on that night especially when she sung her single "Gigil". And by the way she was also with Gloc-9 for the song "Walang Natira".

OPM Advocate Myrus
Second to the last finale performer was Myrus, who's launching his second all-original album anytime on September. He was also, a friend of mine :) and i support him all the way. I love his own version of "Patuloy and Pangarap".

Hit Maker Pop Band Kiss Jane
And the last but definitely not the least Kiss Jane which really made the crowd baliw with their hit single ever "Baliw" an ABS-CBN's theme song for korean series My Princess and "Lagi" from My GF is a Gumiho.

"Mang Inasal loves Filipino culture and music, especially our very ouwn OPM. We believed taht helping promote our own brand of music and artists is a part of our responsibility as a corporate citizen", explains Mang Inasal Marketing Manager Enri Luzuriaga.
"Giving our new artists their much-deserved break is an enherent value to MAng Inasal. We as a company has also a humble before becoming one of the biggest fastfood chain in Philippines today,"   adds Luzuriaga.

Mang Inasal Mang Aawit will be funding the recording of two promotional songs for every artist and the production of one music video thet will be played heavily in close 400 Mang Inasal stores nationwide. A compilation album of all these original songs will be released within the year.

"Tha Mang Inasal Mang Aawit music advocacy program comes at a time when OPM needs it thee most. It is one big step to reviving our local music industry that was what was come the most influential in Asia." related Mang Aawit Project Director Chris Cahilig.
"I have no doubt that many of the eight breakthrough artists will soon become the most prominnt OPM artists. And it would be good to remember in the future thet they all started from Mang Inasal MAng Aawit," add Cahilig.

Tunog Natin 2nd Leg OPM Concert for Freedom by Avida Tower Centera

11 OPM Artists

I have witness the first huge and successful Tunog Natin that was held in Ayala Triangle, Makati by Avida Land. And last July 23, 2011, another huge and very successful 2nd Tunog Natin OPM Concert was prepared for the launching of Avida Towes Centera this time in Madaluyong City. The crowd was happy and luckily i made myself to be there! Truly shows how much we audiences and artists struggle to fight for the survival of Original Pilipino Music (OPM). They've got 11 OPM Artists from 80's, 90's up to present that performed and rocks us! The legendary rock band The Dawn; pop rock artist Tanya Markova; pop quartet Kiss Jane; pop and rnb Myrus; acoustic prince Davey Langit; and balladeer Faith Cuneta. True Faith was there, who also present in the first Tunog Natin.

Davey Langit former Pinoy Dream Academy
I never thought that i will meet Kiss Jane, so great!!! Likewise, to Faith Cuneta, who's so cool and she had this genuine kindness to her heart. Also, they've got the back to back performances of Barbie Almabis and Kithchie Nadal which really gave the highlights of that concert! Kitchie's edgy, and intense vocals plus Barbies distinctly endearing singing style was the combination that brought us up back to 1990s, when these two ladies ruled the alternative pop-alternative rock scene.

Also performed there was the singer-song writer and actress Aiza Seguerra, one of OPM’s most talented hit-makers. The crowd begun to roar when Aiza started to strung her guitar with her new version of her hit single “Pagdating Ng Panahon”. Listening and watching her perform really shows how she was been loved by the crowd. Fantastic!

The legendary Mitch Valdes also graces the show. A veteran of music, theater, film and television. Mitch Valdes is one of the leaders of Original Pilipino Music and oe of the originators of the Filipio singer’s organization “Organisasyon Ng Mga Pilipinong Mang-aawit, and currently the chairwoman of the board.
Mitch Valdes
She was good in impersonating her much-loved Vernie Varga, Michael Jackson, Sharon Cuneta, Armida Seguion-Reyna and Pelita Corales. We all have had a lot of laughs out there! Great show :D

I also had a chance to meet Bekimon, Famous youtube sensation David Dimuzio, and 1:43 Boy group who were also present to witness the successful event!

MedChef Homemade Cakes, Pastries and Desserts on their 1st year Anniversary

Located at 139 Mo. Ignacia, Diliman Quezon City
I was cordially invited to be part of the celebration of their 1st year anniversary on the business known as MedChef the true home of delicious, mouth-watering and simply irresistible cakes, pastries and desserts.  First and foremost, let’s start with their name MedChef; I’m sure all of us have a question back in our mind why it was named Medchef. Is he a Doctor/Chef? Hahaha! Actually, your right! Med is Jayson Carlos he is registered Medical Technologist in St. Luke’s Hospital. Then, after a couple of years, he decided to shift into Marketing and Networking Business. And now he’s one of the executives of Goals Unlimited Corporation.  He also owned Medchef’s Cake shop.
Jayson Carlos
MedChef will not be possible without the chef itself. Chef Hasset Go, the man behind the scene. He was middle child of Ms Lorelie Go. His Mom used to bake cake when he was still a child he’s the one who decorate it. He started at a young age of 12 when he worked as a service crew in order for to support his studies; then he became the youngest Pastry Chef and assistant of Chef Jane Paredes & Chef Ed Quimson, where he served his specialty cakes to some famous celebrities we have like Queen of all Media Kris Aquino, Vicki Belo, Tessa Prieto-Valdez, Katrina Ponce Enrile, Edu Manzo among others. Chef has also found his niche in culinary scene. He also established the title as head chef in Salt and Pepper Restaurant in less than 2 years which is located in Makati. And later he became a consultant to different country clubs and resorts.
Chef Hasset Go
Define Cakes, Pastries and Desserts? MedChef is the first name that comes in my mind. Why? Because they’ve got everything I want.  So when Mark told us about this event and invited us,thi is something I don’t want to missed out. I didn’t have a second thought, because this is one of my favourites to eat cake. Maybe I was born with sweet tooth. Hahaha!!! I went there with my cousin Rueka.  On the first minute that we arrived, Jayson and Chef Hasset already welcome us with all gratitude. And as we all took o our seats, they’ve started to serve us their variety of cakes and flooded us with drinks from their beloved and supportive sponsors; Ceres juices, Pepsi, and evian bottled water. That was really awesome!!!

Flooded cakes and drinks!
Then suddenly, our attention was hooked when the models took the floor and started to ramp carrying luscious cakes, which we could also eat. That was the best part!

Despite the rainy evening outside, MedChef gave the guests the warmth accommodation inside the cakeshop, keep on assuring that we are all okey and fully loaded with foods and drinks.

Akiko of Star Power was there, she also loved cake from MedChef, and she sang a song for everyone and she really sings well JJJ Rey Pumaloy and Richard Pinlac were also spotted.

Through word of mouth, their cakes and pastries have become bestsellers, and the goodwill they’ve shown to their ever-growing clients seems to have translated into their new project as both demand and cake orders have likewise been stronger than expected. 2 thumbs up for Jayson And Chef Hasset!!! Happy 1st year anniversary and congratulation for the success of your party and I’m looking forward to be there on you 2nd,3rd, 4th so on and so forth anniversary to come JMore power!
Me & my cousin Rueka!
Thank You!!!
Highly recommended!
Thank you Mark Joseph Miranda Delgado!!! I enjoyed it very much!!!
